Day 269 - I found Love

More like I found Squidoo! Squidoo is a blog kind of site where you can earn money from your articles. What I love about

this site is its ease of setting up and how they ‘talk’ you though your first blog. The Idea is that each blog is a ‘lens’

(Why call it a lens heaven knows) with that, you can earn royalties each month if your article is picked up. According to

Squidoo:

‘Squidoo may be simple, but it’s not a shortcut, and it’s not a replacement for writing remarkable content. If you go

through the steps in the cookbook, you’ll be off to a good start, but you’ll be far from done. Since there are an infinite

number of possible connections and a gazillion ways to tell a story and meet people and lead them, you’re just getting

started once you hit Publish on your lens. Don’t be disheartened... it’s a road, and the journey starts with just a few

steps’.

Right, so far in my journey, I have made friends off TWITTER, wrote some articles and still have a GOOGLE bank balance of

0.00. Not bad!

My mission should I choose to take it, is to make £2,000 a week. Having read The Science of Getting Rich and Think and

Grow Rich. I’m off to a good start. My first objective was to put on a piece of paper the sum I wanted to earn, by when

and what am I going to give in exchange for this £2,000. So I thought that I would give my time, as my plan is to make the

money within two years. The advice given in the book is to read your statement each morning and before bed. Which I did: I

also carried around my statement, taking it out of my pocket each time I needed inspiration. This morning it went missing,

I look all over, could not find it. I began to panic; this paper was like losing my way to gaining £2,000 a week. NOTE to

myself; always check jeans pockets before placing them in the washing machine.
